Created in 2008, The Shen Yun Performing Arts Foundation (Divine Performing Arts Foundation) is non-profit-making. In Switzerland, this foundation is recognised as a public utility by federal and Cantonal authorities. Its ideal is to allow a worldwide public to rediscover the essence of truly traditional Chinese culture and its most precious values.

The aims of the Shen Yun Performing Arts Foundation:

1. To help and support the company of artist performers of Shen Yun Performing Arts by providing the necessary means and partners to enable it to realise the mission it has set itself, namely, that of reviving the values of Ancient China's authentic culture, imbued with the wisdom of Lao Tzu and Confucius and such values as respect, goodness, tolerance, authenticity and beauty, contributing to a better understanding of the universality of the human spirit.

2. To support the training of young artist performers without financial means in the fields of traditional dance and music and in such a way as to allow them to perpetuate these skills.

3. To transmit and share with Swiss society, thanks to the SHEN YUN spectaculars, traditional and universal values essential for the preservation of all human society and for the respect of human dignity.
